Crossroads Community Church is firm in it's commitment to orthodox belief. We affirm that there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. We believe in the deity of Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in the physical miracles He performed, in His atoning death on the cross, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His personal return in power and glory at His second coming. We profess that regeneration by the Holy Spirit is essential for the salvation of sinful man. We believe that sanctification by the blood of Christ makes possible personal holiness. We affirm the present ministry of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling we are able to live Godly lives and have power for service. We believe in the sanctity of human life; we are committed to the sanctity of the marriage bond, and recognize the importance of strong, loving Christian families.
We believe God's vision for us is to be a contemporary church, believer based, aware of and focused upon the needs of the unsaved; creatively and consistently reaching them with the message of the Gospel. It is our goal to Win them to the cause of Christ through all means found to be in harmony with God's Word. We exist to encourage, establish and equip those brought into the Kingdom with the Word of God, teaching them in the power of the Spirit to worship and witness. When these things are done, we are called to then repeat the glorious cycle of evangelism by Sending them out intentionally, to reach, to win, to teach, and to send all over again. In the midst of this mission, we are called to be a church of faith, hope, love, forgiveness, and acceptance, bringing people into Christian maturity.
Our Vision is to be a growing community of believers, passionately modeling the life of Christ through significant relationships with seekers as well as believers. We will demonstrate the relevance of Christianity through contemporary and creative expressions of faith: in our homes, in our neighborhoods, in the workplace, at school, and wherever the opportunity presents itself.
